I need another weekend please?

I should have known...the early mark on a Friday afternoon...heading home in the not so busy traffic, I thought I should just touch base with our baby sitter....

"Come quick she is really sick and her eyes are rolling back in her head" are the not the words that can be used to calm.. I pick up Safi and Yup she is super sick - gastro lurgy.. I take her to the local GP - I knew would be a waste of time and after she threw up all in his waiting room and allover a lovely toy truck in the childrens toy basket - I got the referral letter to the Hospital.

At least our local hospital - its a big metro one - is great and super. Anytime we have been sick we get AWESOME care. They ended up admitting her and after it took 4 of us to hold her down to put a drip in..(keeping in mind she is 11.5 kilos and 22 months old) she started to get better.

I got to stay at the hospital on a lovely fold out bed approx 14cm wide for the Friday and Saturday nights. I managed to do a tagteam effort with Mick so I could still attend Waynes play on Saturday Night and catch up with mates for Indian food...Great idea or so I thought...

half way through the play - another one of Mr Tunks's fabulous work. - the demons in the belly started...The fart pains were killing me and some were clearly audible to the person sitting beside me..not farting but inside fartnoise...the noise your belly makes before you fart / explode.

Anyhows I managed to make it back to the hospital after the play - where I sat and farted for a whole 10 mins I am sure and went - fitfully off to sleep...

I awoke with a start...and a run and leap to the dunny to commence driving the porceline bus...
You can really come chat to me ab0ut vomit stories UNTIL you have had lentils, prawns, curry and lamb korma come flying out of your mouth and nose! It was just WRONG...

It was awful. even more awful was the fact that Tabba - who had gone home with Mick, made it till about 3am till she leaned over the side of her loft bed and did a tandoori splatter from 185cm..you can really get some coverage from that height...

Needless to say upon my arrival home on SUNDAY at 3pm..some 48 hours after my early mark.....the weekend was nearly over and I seriously needed a replacement.
