longtime no see?

I'm sorry, its been simply forever since my last posting and shitloads have happened in that time.

1) we found a new fabulous place to move and after much box packing, crockery wrapping and lifting we moved to our new home. Have gone from 3beds+1 bathroom to 5 beds and 2 bathrooms...Noice! The new place is so cool and the views of the water can be seen from the front of the house and verandah. The neighbours are a little Stepford though. One Stepford incident that takes place is at 4.01pm every Sunday. Sydney is currently facing water restrictions and as such you aren't allowed to water your gardens until 4pm on Sun/Wed/Fri. So at exactly 4.01pm everyone in the streets starts watering - all at once.... They scare me!

2) Uni - have done 3 more sucky assignments - but the last one for psych B was a joke - there is a lecturer clearly with no life - who is just such an unnecessary hard marker. The last assignment the average mark was 54/100. I have pissed her off no doubt because I sent a venting email debating if 54/100 was an indication of a poor teacher or poor teaching methods.
Hopefully after this subject I won't cop her again!

3) Work - tis okay. Putting together a business case on why they need to pay me the same amount my (MALE) predescor was paid. Ridiculous huh? I mentioned the pay inequity to my manager who danced around it and mumbled something about a business case. Perhaps if I could grow a penis - then it wouldn't be necessary. I happily ignore the glass ceiling shit - but sometimes it just shits me that I have to do more, or work harder or prove myself because I have a cunt.

4) Kids - kids are relatively tops at the moment. Jappy has recovered from his fat lip experience! Safi is just psycho having turned one and Tabbas hormonal mood swings are no where near as much fun as the swings in the park!

5) Mick - tops. Really connecting. He is so much happier working for himself rather than working for Grant.

6) Me - the kaos reigns supreme. I was gutted my the election - there will be a seperate blog about this topic. on a positive note - its 65 sleeps till I go to Bali - although yesterday was the bali bombing anniversary - but I am not sad or frightened to go - it was more the emotional connection I have with the place and whilst I have complete empathy for any Australian who lost their family/loved oned - I can not but help think about the effect this bomb has put on the worlds most amazing place and people - the Balinese.

Oh my favourite website - balitravelforum...
