tiga puluh dua malam malam saya pergi ke Bali - 88kg.

Got up at 5.15 am and did the bush circuit 45mins, then went to work - no Denny episodes today - in fact a fairly good day. One toss episode though - got a poachingmanager trying to cut C's grass and he didn't listen to me. I don't suffer fools lightly and I especially don't tolerate fools who don't listen.

Anyways we took KJ out for her 2 year anniversary at work and went to thaiisan - which is now Spice, Rice and Ice. food was good and I didnt go nuts.

Got home late (traffic was a shocker) and did the bush circuit with runs 35mins before dinner. Not overly hungry today -very focussed and in the zone for my goal.

32sleeps - woohoo!!

tiga puluh tiga, malam-malam, saya pergi ke bali! (88kg)

33 sleeps till I go to Bali.

So excited!! and I am now 88kg...so I have 33 sleeps to lose 3 kg. So starting yesterday I have upped my exercise 2 x 45min walk/run per day. Yesterday I did bush circuit near my house at 7am and at 4.30pm. Today I did 45 min to EG at lunchtime and the bush circuit + shops this afternoon after work (approx 60mins worth).

I have an insane social calendar/work/uni thingy coming up in the next 33 sleeps too..

23/11 Kylie with Clint and Amy.
24/11 uni assignments.
25/11 shitfacedintheshire - drinkfest with the mates in gods own country
26/11 recovery bbq at my home.
02/12 babyshower
03/12 bbq in the city
4-8/12 - lunch with Deanne/derek sometime in there and drinks with Amy at some stage that week.
07/12 school pres night - primary for Jappy.
08/12 logistics xmas party
14/12 drinks at MDs house
15/12 tabbas year 10 graduation + hanukkah
16/12 my birthday party
17/12 recovery bbw at my home
18/12 actual bday and big wax fest/eyelash tint/beautician fix for about 1.5 hours....
19/12 zoolander at open air cinema
21/12 work xmas party
22/12 early family xmas before we go on holidays..
23/12 fly out.....for 23.5 nights....
Gosh I am exhausted thinking about it.So with 33 sleeps and 3 kg to go - but with lots and lots of naughty food/drinks on the way I am hoping upping my exercise will cut it for me!!

If I make it to 85kg by 23rd of Dec- it will be the lightest I would have been - ever in Bali (been going for 11 years) and the lightest I have been since April 1995! (btw April 21st, 1995 my mother past away suddenly and my emotional eating/overeating kicked in)

Getting below 85kg - my challenge for 2007 will be a big hurdle - physically and emotionally but I can do it. After I get back from Bali my next goal is to be between 85 -80 by 10th of Feb (KO conference) lets say 82.5kg. Then my next big big milestone is Easter - April 8th 2007 - I am going to be 75kg. 14 weeks to hopefully drop 5-7.5 kgs.... In Bali I don't put on weight cause 1) its too hot to eat, 2) I walk heaps and heaps, 3) this trip I am booked in to do heaps of physical tours - cycling, jungletrekking, surfschool and maybe just maybe TreeTops at Lake Bratan AND Horseriding.

so let me just say it one more time...APRIL 8TH, 2007 - I WILL BE 75KG!!!!

I have not ridden since - gosh let me think......since.....since....about 1991 - up at Mackay....Since I was about 65kgs. BUT I am hoping to go horseriding in Bali. I rode as a child from about 5 to 17 - inc showjumping etc, but after I moved to the big smoke I let it go....BUT I really love horses, the smell of them, the freedom of going for a kickarse gallop through the bush. The thrill of charging into the surf on a bareback horse is just unreal.

Bugger it...I am going horseriding. I have just paid all my travel insurance so bugger it. Horsies here I come!

88.5/littlelotta/39sleeps

14 kgs down ......but what I have gained from this loss........

for me its:-
1) HEALTH and being about to run.

2) breaking through those milestone kilos (under 100, under 95, under 90 etc)

3) a wardrobe full of clothes that don't fit me anymore :0) gotta buy some new ones, but not just sure yet when to start - all my 20's and 18s are way too big and the small amout of 16s I have are starting loosen up.

4) a return to some high heeled shoes

5) buying something off the rack in sussans/events etc - not something from the BigisBeautiful range or BigCity Chic.

6) calves and ankles...my legs have some definition (no more little lotta legs see http://www.toonopedia.com/lotta.htm)

7) smaller boobs (this is great cause I have been up as high as an Fcup)

8) no more back boosies....

9) feeling much better about myself

10) no giant fadoubadahs...(kathnkim speak for tuckshop arms)

11) some cossie confidence (looking forward to summer holidays)

12) some confidence knowing that when I do slip up - I am not off the wagon and some extra exercise in the following fortnight can really fix the damage of a small binge.

13) my husband saying clumsy things about my body - like "I've always loved your butt what ever size, but it looks really hot right now"

14) my 8yo son hugging me the other day and being able to fully link his hands together and then him commenting - wow I couldn't do that before ...

15) the tradies have started to whislte again

16) initiating sex more often with my husband

Oh on the Bali front - its only 39 sleeps and you need to check out this awesome viral marketing campaign.WHERE THE BALI HELL ARE YOU?

Brotown

Choice.

I fly into Brotown last week and we were generously put up by my mate N who lives in Auckland. On Friday we drove down through Tirau - an awesome little down with a freaky clockshop.....but great lunch - then down to Rotorua to see all the bubblymud geothermal attractions NZ has to offer.

Hells Gate Ultimud Package - was really worth it. We kitted up into our cossies - something quite funny - given it was like 14 degrees, then we submerged ourselves into a private mud pool (warm). It was super fun. Honestly do you ever grow out of the mudpie stage?? We took way too many inappropriate photos of mudboobs, mudfaces and mudbutts. Next was the plunge into the sulpher pool (after a very nasty cold water mud wash off) followed by a warm shower. After the shower we then all had massages and some manuka tea (teatree flavoured tea). After being super relaxed we then did the walk/circut through the natural attraction.

After that super relaxing trip when then booked into our hotel . IN record time 3 chicks managed to shower and get dressed and makeup to attend the cultural show/dinner downstairs at the hotel. There was a huge amount of middle aged korean and american tourists, but that didn't put us off having fun. Bob and Patty from SantaBarbara - sorry to admit to you - but 'happy finish' is not an australian colloquialism for goodbye - oooops..! *teehee*

After the show, and two bottles of wine - we were at that stage where you either go to bed or go out partying....we did the latter. Found a themebar - called the GrumpyMole which was just too funny for words. And we achieved our aim of finding some bro's to dance with - how YOU doin? worked just as well over there as it does back home!! Anyways we got sick of that place after some serious dancing and headed to some other dodgy pub, did some more dancing and then started to get way too tired, so we headed back to the hotel, where I promptly decided that even though it was 2am in the morn, and we had drunk heaps and heaps - it was the perfect time to use the hotel laundry (which was across from our room) so I did pissedwashing!!

EWwwwwwww in the morn - I had clean clothes, but a feral hangover. Luckily we found an awesome cafe in town with a great big fry up and when out stomaches and heads had finally settled we explored the shops and lake Rotorua in a peddle boat. (had to get exercise in somewhere). We drove up the coast to Maketu Beach to have some FUSH and CHUPS on the beach. It was really really awesome - oh and we saw a three legged dog. hmmm

Next on the trip was tackytouristland - Kiwiworld. Yes a giant kiwi to rival our Big Pineapple, Banana, Prawn and Sheep. It was such a wallet zone though - all the tourist souveniers were just so overpriced it was a joke.

After that we headed up to visit and stay with Nic's parents in Tauranga. Simply stunning spot and we did the Mount Maunganui walk then settled into hot salt water pools for a relax after the walk.

We headed out for a big night (not as big as the night before) and found another grumpymoles and found an awesome restaurant for dinner.

The next day we headed up to KatiKati which was just beautiful and we stopped and had an awesome morning tea. Then off to Karanganhake Gorge for a bushwalk through an old train tunnel and through some breathtaking bush.

Next up to Pareo to see the famous L&Pbottle (softdrink that kinda tastes like lemonade with gingerbeer)and onto Ngatea for a great lunch at the watergardens - then finally back to Auckland for work. We stayed at the Duxton really nice hotel blah blah, and on the Sunday night we did the Skytower for dinner - view, food, wine was awesome!!. Monday night we took outselved out for noodles and the open mic night at the comedy club. The funniest thing on the night was some comedian knocking over his pre performance drink on my table and me getting beer all over my jeans from my undies to my socks. Thanks Bro. I could have chucked a hissy, but instead demanded he buy me a drink to compensate. The comedy itself was shithouse. Seriously - a couple of the comedians used jokes about stuff that is soooo not remotely funny. Now I can do inappropriate. I have a sick sense of humour but jokes about kiddy fiddling? was just really really not funny. So at interval we ran and never looked back.

Tuesday dinner was at an awesom awesome restaurant - Monsoonpoon - where I had a cool cocktail - Poontang - and great food, great service and great company.

Wednesday our last night in NZ was spent back at my friend Nics house in her heated spa with some of her other mates, lots of wine, takeout indian and lots of lots of fun.

Thursday - finished up in the office, went to the supermarket to stockup on perky nanas, pinkybars and other nz chocolate delights and headed off to the airport for a flight delay (3 hours *nah*. Finally touched down in Sydney 3 hours later - hit dutyfree and then waited for ever to get thru customs and then a hideous taxi queue at Sydney Airport.

Got home to find my husband, and 2 daughters waiting up for me (son couldn't stay awake any longer).

Nothing like coming home.

lima puluh, dua - malam malam saya pergi te Bali..

yes only 52 sleeps till I go to Bali

I can't wait.

*screams with excitement*

choice - I'm going to New Zealand....

I fly out in 19hours - woohoo - its a work trip BUT I still love any kind of travel that involves a stamp in my passport. Now even though NZ is only 3 hours flight from my home - I have never been there before. I have been to Paris, London, New York, StJohn(US Virgin Islands), LA, Thailand, Indonesia BUT I have never been to our nearest neighbour - NZ or Brotown as some call it.

On Friday (mydayoff) I am going down to Rotarua to hang at Hells Gate bubblymud thingy day spa thing. It looks awesome and I am going for the ULTIMUD packaged. Following that we are staying at a hotel with full touristy thingy and we are seeing some dancing and having a 'choice' hangi for dinner. Saturday we are off to the Bay of Plenty then back to Auckland for a work dinner on Sunday. Then Mon-thursday in our NZ office - where the people are just awesome!

Haven't heard back from my ph interview on Monday - but the GM of bose gave me a phone interview and invited me to attend a 2nd interview when I get back from NZ. Cheeky bugger tried to get me down on salary - but I responded with " but you must appreciate given your brand and your positioning in the market - that when you settle for price - you get what you pay for. Your brand isn't about price, its about high performance, value add, top shelf. Your company/brand really needs a strategic professional - not some HR admin person (which he had told me they had previously and didn't cut it)and to get this level of experience and expertise - thats what you have to pay for."

So proud of myself for being so ballsy!!

I had a big catch up with BIS (my former mentor/manager)and he is super concerned i could be leaving and asked what would keep me.

I responded with...
1) him signing on to be my manager again.*ha* wont happen, but worth a try.
2) my salary budgets for my team fully approved (to pay my awesome team members the salaries they really deserve - they aren't super high in comparison - but it would be great to not just reward them - but pay them what they deserve!)
3) title change to ANZ HRM
4) additional levels of authority - directives straight from MD and not thru DC.
5) finally a $20K for me.
I think he may have back doored some of this to the big MD who has been super nice and appreciative of me this week. DC is still away on leave - and then I am back in the office Friday week - but then he is out for another week at a customer retreat..so at this stage it may be more positive.

Went back to the GP - and i have a stomach ulcer. On top of the stress and crap - the tummy discomfort and the nausea have a real reason.

The good side is - it supresses my appetite!! DOWNSIDE - no coffee, no chillis, no drinking (oops my itinery for NZ does involve some wineries and bars with NZ coworkers and it would be so RUDE of my to refuse..)

Looking for alternative therapies cause I dont want any dodgy side effects from medication that the CP prescribed.
